By nature I am cautious what I say I do for the Lord or in his name.
It consumes similar energy to be nice as it is to hate.
To be nice has that reward deep within us that we just did well.
It’s a reward that just keeps giving, overflowing from one great feeling to another.
Overflowing from one human to another.
We operate well on good feelings, positivity makes all our organs work, our mind be free, no anxiety, depression etc because we are positive and happy.
Our skin is clear, our mind is true, eyes are clear, we eat and process food better.
Equally if one hates….. that works the same but in the opposite direction.
Hate turns into bitterness , bitterness slowly decays your body, festering into more bitterness and deeper bitterness.
Hebrews 12:15
“See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;”
We see a lot of bitterness in our work, a result of peoples actions, refusal to let go of past or present issues until bitterness is ruling their life.
People get stuck on an issue, generally someone has done them wrong and they can’t move forward.
That issue takes control of their life, instead of leaving it to the Lord for judgment in his perfect timing.
We should forgive out loud so our ear hears and our heart responds/heals.
After bitterness comes revenge, to seek revenge one must first dig their own grave.
A spiralling decay of bad decisions made worst by the next decision.
All can be rectified through the horse but having the support of our Heavenly Father is paramount.
Hebrews 12:14-15
“Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;”
Remember it is our heavenly fathers will for us to be happy, to reward us, to be fruitful before him.
Ask yourself “is it my want or the Lords will” before acting on something.
I generally in prayer will state that “you know I am slow, you know I am always dubious about what I am to do , so make it evident to me lord please, beyond any doubt that what you want is what I do”.
By nature I am cautious what I say I do for the Lord or in his name.
I pray upon an issue daily for 3-10 days for an outcome.
An answer always comes.
I pray for wisdom upon the matter for a sound, fair and equitable outcome.
I pray that the outcome will strengthen me, that whatever the outcome because I have prayed in faith for assistance not a result in my favour, will be “Gods Will” not my carnal want.
I pray that in the result that I maintain a journey on the straight road and use only the narrow gate.
I pray for my opposition that they find Jesus so that they can live a comfortable life without conflict with me.
This weekend is Father’s Day, I will be celebrating with my Heavenly Father through prayer.
Please be happy and rejoicing rather than permit bitterness to take hold.
Be kind and merciful to those around you, share a smile with those that don’t have one.
A small deed to someone will not change the world.
But it will change the world for that “someone”.
